Language and communication: the challenges of the digital age

In March 30 and 31, 2017,  The Department of Communication and Foreign Languages, with the support of the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the Polytechnic University of Timisoara, organized the 10th International Conference on Professional Communication and Translation Studies (PCTS 10), under the generic Language and Communication: The Challenges of the Digital Age. More than 100 participants from 31 university centers from Europe, Asia, Africa and the United States of America participated in this event.

At the official opening of the conference held on March 30, 2017, the following speakers spoke: Mr. Prefect Mircea BĂCALĂ, Mr. Prof. Dr. Petru ANDEA, Secretary of State in the Ministry of National Education, Mr. Prof.dr.ing. Daniel DAN, Prorector UPT and Mr. Conf.dr. Daniel DEJICA, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Sciences. The moderation of the opening and the plenary sessions was carried out by the Conf. Mariana CERNICOVA-BUCĂ.
