The PROTOTIP exhibition at the 6th edition
The students of the Faculty of Architecture and City Planning of Politehnica University Timisoara have given into their imagination and transposed their creative ideas. And the result can be admired at the exhibition organized in the Expo hall on the ground floor of the Faculty of Architecture and City Planning, Traian Lalescu Street no. 2.
Students of the third year in the Furniture and Interior Design Department (Mădălina Boariu, Anca Bîrcă , Roxana Cengher , Răzvan Chiorean, Anda Cioară, Teodora Ciucănel , Andrei Damian, Roxana Elena, Dorin Gruiţă , Elena Handrea, Sara Horvath , Oana Iliesi , Miriana Jovanović, Flavius Manolescu, Hunor Marcu, Mihaela Marin, Lavinia Nechifor, Ruxandra Pop, Cristina Popescu, Rebeka Sándor, Teodora Scurtu, Radu Simeria, Monica Similie, Rebeka Tölcsér , Cristina Turcu, Mara Vaida, Mara Hebe) made the PROTOTIP exhibition, already at its 6th edition, which brings together a series of seminar activities that result in the conceiving of 3D objects: Lighting appliances / Lighting - Tutor: Arch. Anda Maier, street food packaging / Industrial Design - tutor: arch. Otilia Tudoran, interior design / Living - tutor: arch. Maja Bâldea.
Practically, students had to make lighting fixtures to meet a need identified by them, to make packages for a possible street food festival and to make, on a scale, the layout of an interior space, respecting the stages of execution of the interior design works.
The opening of the exhibition took place on Monday, February 18, 2019. Next, the exhibition will be open until March 1, Monday to Friday from 17:00 to 20:00 and Saturday between 12:00 and 18:00.
