"97 for POLI"

Continuing a tradition started three years ago, the Politehnica University Timişoara organized on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, in partnership with the Sports Association Alergothura Club, the event "97 for Poli".

Practically, from the 12:00-16:00, at the Polytechnic's Sports Complex 1, the students and the teaching staff of the university made 97 stadium tours, one for each year of existence of the Politehnica University Timișoara, underlining that the institution has always supported the movement and the sport that shapes both the body and the spirit.

Each runway had a leader running the Politehnica flag. According to tradition, the first tour leader was even the rector of the Politehnica University Timișoara, Prof. Eng. Viorel-Aurel Şerban Ph.D. and the last tour was provided by one of the pro-rectors of the institution, Dan Daniel.

The event opened the series of events dedicated to the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Politehnica University Timișoara.
