The Central Library of Politehnica University Timisoara hosted on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, the opening of the exhibition "Freedom. The revolution in Timisoara. 30 years". The atmosphere of 30 years ago was recreated with the help of the architect Mihai Donici, with the help of which the exhibition was set up, and of prof. Miodrag Milin, PhD, (scientific researcher at the Romanian Academy - Timișoara branch, "Titu Maiorescu" Institute of Banat Studies), who recalled moments from the 1989 Timisoara Revolution to those present at the event.
UPT Library has exhibited, on this occasion, the personal collection of publications of the assoc. prof. Ioan David, PhD, director of the Library of the Romanian Academy, Timișoara branch, and documents about the 1989 Revolution from the BUPT collection.
Also, within the same event, two documentary films about the Timișoara Revolution were displayed, made by Mircea Radu and Marius Augustin Leahu: "7 days alone" and "People, memories, Revolution".
