Seats, subject of exhibition

implemented by students of the 6th year of the Faculty of Architecture and City Planning

The chairs, in a great variety of forms and ideas, are the subject of the exhibition made by the students of the 6th year of the Faculty of Architecture and City Planning of the Politehnica University Timișoara, coordinated by the teachers: Arch. Cristina Maria Povian and Arch. Mihai Donici. The work done by the students within the Interior Design Project was reunited at the SIT WITH ME exhibition, which was opened on February 1, 2018, in the hall of the Central Library of the Politehnica University Timișoara.

The exhibition was an exciting challenge for students who, up to now, were accustomed to working harder on paper or on computers. This time, they also physically realized that all what they had done only was only at the conceptual level. It was an interesting experience also because they were able to interact directly with the beneficiaries of their work, some of them, perhaps, future clients.

The exhibition also had the role of highlighting the very important role the designer can play in making quality interior design.

For the Central Library of University Politehnica Timișoara, the exhibition, with 46 exhibits, represents the fruit of an earlier collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture and City Planning, which will continue with other similar events.The exhibition will remain open to those interested for two weeks.
