Bursele includ transportul internațional, asigurarea medicală și o indemnizație lunară care acoperă cazarea și cheltuielile de trai, o sumă pentru cărți și materiale educaționale și o primă de instalare. În cazul în care bursierul va fi însoțit de familie (soț/soție și copii necăsătoriți până în 21 de ani) cel puțin 80% din perioada stagiului Fulbright, acesta va beneficia şi de o alocaţie pentru familie. Bursele se acordă pentru o perioadă cuprinsă între 3 și 6 luni. Sunt eligibile toate domeniile, cu excepția disciplinelor clinice.

EDGE Fellowships in ICT and Materials

The Fulbright Commission for Educational Exchange offers approximately 35 scholarships annually for study, teaching and research in the United States at the post-doctoral level. In line with the European Research Area (ERA) objectives, the programme’s goal is to create favourable conditions for transnational mobility of highly skilled researchers. In respect for the EURAXESS principles, fellows will be selected through a transparent selection process carried out, notably, by independent experts.

The programme lasts five years and covers three calls for proposals. Between 2013 and 2018 the International Post-Doc Initiative (IPODI) of the Technische Universität Berlin awards 21+5 two-year fellowships to international female researchers in 3+1 internationally open calls. IPODI is part of an initiative (Wissenschaftlerinnen an die Spitze) that aims at increasing the number of women in leadership positions. IPODI addresses outstanding female researchers regardless of their nationality or age and is open to applications from all fields of research represented at the TU Berlin.

Every year a board of representatives of the Austrian Ministry awards the Ernst Mach Grants based on the results of an expert examination procedure. The Regional Studies Association is launching a new policy research initiative "RSA Policy Expo" worth up to £15,000 to successful teams aiming to connect the work of its members and wider communities to societal questions and policy needs.
The Expos will deliver a short form policy focussed, clear and evidenced book for launch particularly within the relevant practice based communities and to the academic community through the Association’s membership benefits and wider book sales. This book will be distributed to all RSA members and RSA journal subscribers giving it a global circulation and footprint.

Propositions regarding papers/proceedings
 
Maximum volume of the text is 15,000 characters with spaces (the limit does not include figures, tables, references and appendices) and the number of co-authors per paper is limited to three.

All submitted papers will be peer reviewed by the reviewers drawn from the scientific committee or external reviewers depending on the topic, title and the subject matter of the paper.  Selection of papers which will be presented at the conference venue will be based upon quality, originality, and relevance.

All accepted papers will be published in the "Proceedings of International Scientific Conference on Economics and Management - EMAN 2017" after the conference, and their publication in proceedings does not require presentation at the conference venue.
 

Proceedings will be indexed with ISBN, CIP, Cobiss.SR number in National Library of Republic of Serbia. Also, conference proceedings will be submitted to indexation and / or publication and / or the listing at the Thomson Reuters ISI Web of Science (WOS) Conference Proceedings Citation Index, EBSCO, CiteSeerX, SCOPUS, ERA, ProQuest, Google Books, Google Scholar database and so on.

Papers published in the proceedings will be classified as M33 category according to the regulations on scientific research results within the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Republic of Serbia.

The required profile to be recruited must at least have reached R2 level in the European Framework for Research Careers3. This means he or she must:
o Hold a PhD (or equivalent);
o Have demonstrated expertise in line with the job advertisement;

Bursele DAAD oferă cercetătorilor străini posibilitatea unui stagiu de cercetare sau de perfecționare în Germania. Oferta de finanțare se adresează diferitelor etape de calificare sau trepte din carieră.

Obiectivul principal al acestui program este sprijinirea stagiilor de cercetare de scurtă durată în vederea schimbului de experiență între colegi și a formării de rețele profesionale de specialitate.

Își pot depune candidatura cadre didactice universitare sau cercetători recunoscuți, care, de regulă, ar trebui să dețină deja titlul de doctor și să fie angajați la o instituție de învățământ superior sau un institut de cercetare din România.

Durata stagiului este de la 1 până la 3 luni. Decizia este luată de comisia de selecție în funcție de proiectul de cercetare și planul de lucru propus.

Se finanţează:

• Stagii de cercetare în cadrul unei instituții de învățământ superior de stat/ acreditată de stat sau în cadrul unui institut de cercetare cu un statut similar din Germania. Un stagiu de cercetare poate avea loc și la diferite instituții.
• Finanțarea unui astfel de stagiu de cercetare nu poate fi acordată decât o dată la trei ani.

This award is open to individual applicants in their early career (five years maximum between the date showing on the certificate and the application deadline). Applicants must be based within an eligible higher education institution (HEI) and must be a current, early career member of the Regional Studies Association and throughout the duration of the grant (please note that applicants may apply for membership at the same time as applying for the grant).

Nominations (both self-nominations and third party nominations) of current members are being sought for the following awards in regional studies and related fields, which will be awarded by the Regional Studies Association Award Committee in 2017. 

• Nathaniel Lichfield Award - the nominee must have graduated within the previous year
• RSA PhD Student Award - the nominee has to be a registered PhD student who has not yet received their certificate
• RSA Routledge Early Career Award - the nominee has to be an early career researcher within five years of the date on their PhD certificate or equivalent 

The nominees are expected to have made an original and outstanding contribution to the field of regional studies and the leading personal contribution of the recipient to the work must be clearly identifiable.

L’Agence universitaire de la francophonie (AUF), par l’intermédiaire de l’Institut de la francophonie pour l’ingénierie de la connaissance et la formation à distance (IFIC) reconduit pour sa deuxième édition, à l’occasion de la journée internationale des femmes, le concours ELLESgorithme destiné aux femmes francophones, sans distinction de pays, en vue de promouvoir le développement d’applications mobiles en langue française dans le domaine du numérique éducatif.
Objectif général
L’objectif général de ce concours est d’apporter un appui à la création d’applications mobiles par des femmes, dans le domaine du numérique éducatif et en langue française. Les trois meilleures réalisations recevront un prix et leur promotion sera assurée par l’IFIC.
Points importants à noter :
• les projets proposés doivent impérativement être en relation avec le numérique éducatif en
français :
◦ Jeux sérieux
◦ Animation de groupe
◦ Aide pour les étudiant(e)s

etc.).
À l’issue de la première phase, cinq projets seront déclarés éligibles et donneront lieu à un développement complet.

Call Starting Grant 2018: #Talent@ UniPD
The University of Padova (UNIPD) promotes the participation to the European Research Council (ERC) calls. To this purpose, one of UNIPD strategic actions is to identify possible ERC candidates with a competitive curriculum and to support them in all the steps concerning the proposal preparation and submission to the annual ERC calls.

What does the ERC fund? (For details, see https://erc.europa.eu/funding/starting-grants)
ERC Starting Grants support Principal Investigators (PI) with a competitive CV to start their own independent research team and carry on innovative research projects in any scientific field. Scientific excellence is the sole criterion on the basis of which ERC research grants are awarded.

How does the profile of the ERC Starting Grant PI look like?
PIs may be researchers of any nationality with 2-7 years of experience since completion of PhD or equivalent degree. Extensions are possible under certain circumstances such as maternity/paternity, illness, etc.

PIs are expected to have produced significant publications as main authors in major international peer-reviewed scientific journals, out of which at least one important publication without the participation of their PhD supervisor. The results obtained by the PIs and detailed in their CVs must show the potential for research independence and the capacity to carry out original research.

Please consider also the following recurring features of the PIs funded by the ERC:

• a record of invited presentations in well-established international conferences
• international prizes/awards
• research periods spent in top-rated institutions
• very high values of bibliometric indicators (e.g. h-index, number of citations received, etc.), compared with the average values of the candidate’s research field.
  

If your profile meets those requirements, send us your CV and your track record (using the template attached), and an abstract of max. 2000 characters on your project idea (which will be treated in a confidential manner) not later than 20 June 2017 to participate in StG2018 call (call opening: July 2017; estimated call closure: October 2017).
The most promising candidates, after approval of the host Department (The International Research Office will verify whether the Department is available to host the PI), will be supported in the following ways:

Fundația Internațională Matsumae din Japonia anunță acordarea, în perioada aprilie 2018 – martie 2019, a unui număr de aproximativ 20 de burse de cercetare în Japonia, având prioritate domeniile științe naturale, inginerie și medicină.

Bursele se adresează celor care dețin un doctorat în domeniile menționate mai sus, nu au mai călătorit în Japonia și au vârsta sub 49 de ani. De asemenea, persoanele interesate trebuie să stăpânească bine limba japoneză sau engleză. L'objectif de l'appel est de soutenir la mobilité des universitaires de la région Europe centrale et orientale (enseignants, chercheurs, doctorants), qui présenteront une contribution scientifique à l’occasion de manifestations scientifiques francophones (congrès, colloques, journées scientifiques, etc.), en valorisant et en renforçant de cette manière la science en français.

Le soutien à la participation aux manifestations scientifiques est par principe de courte durée (l'allocation forfaitaire sera de maximum 300 €, le montant total de la subvention accordée ne dépassera pas 1000 €).
