Open Days at UPT – the university campus opens for students and teaching staff

Politehnica University Timișoara has always fostered a good collaborative relationship with students and schools, organizing a series of courses, competitions and events dedicated to them, from "Politehnica Timișoara - a step toward your future!", the UPT Caravan, summer schools, preparation courses for the baccalaureate and faculty admission, up to scholarships offered to award-winning students at national and international competitions, prizes awarded to top students, regardless of their field, or even supporting some student activities.

In that spirit, Politehnica Timisoara Univeristy opens its premises – laboratories, the library, Experimentarium TM – to all the teachers and students interested in discovering them, with the possibility of visiting any laboratory and the entire UPT campus, between February 27 and June 16, 2023, on the occasion of the Open Days.

All 10 UPT faculties will open their laboratories to the schools, both for student visits and for demonstrative activities, either in groups organized per schools, or during "Săptămâna altfel". More than 150 laboratories are thus available to the students, from the classical ones of physics and chemistry to some ultramodern ones, related to the various specializations of the faculties of engineering or those of architecture, management, communication and public relations.

Last but not least, the UPT Library, the most modern university library, will organize guided tours for groups of students and teachers, and the interactive physics center Experimentarium TM and the Museum of Politehnica University Timisoara will open for visits starting March 6, 2023.
