Teacher in China. An unprecedented experience

Politehnica Foundation and the Department of Applied Electronics at Politehnica University Timisoara organized on Monday, March 25, 2019, in the K1 amphitheater, at the UPT Central Library, the presentation "Teacher in China. An Unusual Experience ", authors: prof. eng. Ivan Bogdanov, PhD and assist. eng. Raul Ionel, PhD.

Professors Ivan Bogdanov and Raul Ionel told, on this occasion, about the unprecedented teaching experience at Chinese universities, with impressions of both the educational system and the culture and civilization of the country. The information presented was particularly useful for those interested in China's education system as well as for teachers who intend to teach there.

The two got to teach in China through the University of Heidelberg, with which UPT has an old collaboration. This, in turn, collaborates with several Chinese higher education institutions and launched a challenge for teachers from the Timisoara Polytechnic to go to teach at Asian universities. The first to respond to the invitation was prof. eng. Ivan Bogdanov, PhD, and assist. eng. Raul Ionel, PhD, who have taught several IT and mechatronics subjects, in three universities in three different cities.

The program will continue in the future, with more teachers from Timisoara, from the faculties of Mechanical Engineering and Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering and Information Technologies, who have signed up for such traineeships.
