Undiscovered mechanisms by Leonardo da Vinci at the UPT Library

This year marks the 500th anniversary of the genius of humanity, Leonardo da Vinci, Italy and France, celebrating this event. The Renaissance Universal Man is illustrated in the absolute way by Leonardo, his era marking a fundamental period for the history of humanity. Leonardo, the artist and visionary engineer, has perhaps, for the last time, met the two fundamental aspects of the human spirit.

The architect and visual artist Mihai Donici also commemorates the most prominent representative of the Italian Renaissance during his peak, proposing an exhibition in this spirit, entitled ”Ideal projects and mechanisms undiscovered by Leonardo", an unconventional marking of a unique personality.

Unprepared projects, notebooks and mechanisms make sense in a postmodern key an unrepeatable personality, for which maximum words are justified.

Organized by the Arte Factum Cultural Association, the exhibition was installed on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, in the central hall of the Library of Politehnica University Timișoara, and will remain open until September.
