UPT Caravan Balance Sheet
Between September and November 2019, Politehnica University Timișoara conducted seminars in vocational guidance and counseling seminars in order to increase the access of students to high quality technical education.
The project implementation teams, formed by the counselors of the Career Counseling and Orientation Center of Politehnica University Timisoara, teachers and students, went to high schools selected from 9 counties (Alba, Arad, Bihor, Caraș-Severin, Dolj, Gorj, Hunedoara, Mehedinți and Timiș) for organizing counseling seminars for high school students.
The students from 153 high schools benefited from counseling and guidance, out of which 68 high schools from rural areas and cities with less than 10,000 inhabitants. The number of students informed was 16,092, of which 1,636 students from rural high schools and 3,190 from cities under 10,000 inhabitants.
The activities were carried out within the project CNFIS-FDI-2019-0678, entitled "Facilitating access to technical education in Timisoara by creating a HUB for connecting High School Students - Students - Companies, by involving the alumni community of Politehnica University Timisoara (ESC-HUB)".
