UPT participates in the National Student Questionnaire project

"Quality in higher education: internationalization and databases for the development of Romanian education”

Politehnica University students participate in this period in the National Student Questionnaire (CNS), a project developed by the Executive Unit for Financing Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation (UEFISCDI) in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research within the project "Quality in higher education: internationalization and databases for the development of Romanian education”, co-financed from the European Social Fund through the Human Capital Operational Program (POCU), SMIS code 126766.

Even though it is mentioned in several places that it is important for students' opinions to be taken into account, this is not always the case. Therefore, the implementation of a national questionnaire on student satisfaction would make a decisive contribution to the implementation of this goal in the National Higher Education System.

CNS is part of a national study, which aims to measure students' satisfaction with the quality of higher education. CNS is implemented, for the first time, starting with 2020, in all public and private higher education institutions in Romania.

Romania thus becomes the first state in Eastern Europe and one of the first in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) to conduct a national study, which aims to measure students' satisfaction with the quality of higher education.

Students of Politehnica University Timisoara can access CNS through two routes:

- by the invitation received on the email address registered in the Single Enrollment Register (all registered students received such an invitation), directly accessing CNS;

- following the promotion of CNS, freely accessing the platform and being identified in the Single Matriculation Register either on the basis of CNP or by filling in the data of the persons (in case the data from RMU are not updated).

If the students have not received the e-mail from CNS, they can enter the link: https://cns.uefiscdi.ro/ and access the questionnaire, filling in the necessary data, until December 18, 2020.
