Internal programmes supporting internationalisation
We create opportunities for UPT academics and researchers to engage internationally, take part in relevant conferences, exchange experience and develop projects that open up new perspectives and partnerships.

A globally connected university
UPT actively and systematically supports greater international visibility, mobility and research performance. Complementing standard mobility schemes such as Erasmus+, our internationalisation programmes support participation in international conferences, publication in indexed journals and teaching and research placements at UPT for international guests.
ISI Programme
The programme is aimed at doctoral students, academic staff and researchers who publish or present their research internationally. It provides financial support for participation in conferences indexed in ISI Web of Knowledge and for publishing in ISI-indexed journals (SCIE, SSCI).
SAMOB Programme
Aimed at academic staff involved in international activities, including teaching international students at UPT, the programme covers expenses related to participation in scientific events, as well as purchases required for teaching and research activities.
Visiting@UPT
Through the Visiting@UPT Programme, the university welcomes academics and researchers from abroad for teaching or research placements at UPT. The programme brings international expertise to campus and strengthens collaboration with global partners.
Benefits for the UPT community
These programmes contribute to:
- Greater internationalisation in education and research;
- Stronger international partnerships and greater visibility for UPT;
- Broader access to international opportunities;
- Improved publishing and conference participation.
