Issuance of academic and university documents
Find out about the procedure for obtaining an original academic document or another original university document, depending on your circumstances and the document you require.
What you need to know
Keep your academic documents in good condition. Whenever possible, avoid submitting original academic documents to different institutions. Do not laminate original documents.
The steps, required documents and any applicable fees vary depending on the academic document you are requesting and your study status at UPT. Below, you will find clear explanations for each situation, so you know exactly what to do to request or collect the appropriate document.
Original academic documents can only be issued based on an appointment made in advance.
1. Diploma
The diploma is an official academic document certifying the completion of university studies and the award of the qualification corresponding to the completed degree programme. It is accompanied by the supplementary documents required by law.
1.1. For the most recent graduating cohort
Academic documents are issued within a maximum of 12 months of passing the final examinations.
1.2. For graduates from previous years
If you graduated from UPT some time ago, you can request your diploma at any time.
Here you will find information on what you need to do to collect it, depending on how long ago you completed your studies.
2. Academic Transcript
The academic transcript is an academic document that provides a record of your university studies, including the subjects you have studied, credits earned, examination results and other relevant information.
If you are a student enrolled at UPT or a recent graduate whose diploma has not yet been issued, you can request your academic transcript from the secretariat of the faculty (.pdf) [PDF, 566.8 KB] where you studied by submitting the AS4 application form (.pdf) [PDF, 91.8 KB].
