The UPT Campus is an open and welcoming space located in the heart of Timișoara. You can visit anytime to walk along its pathways, relax in the parks surrounding the faculties or enjoy a good coffee at one of the student cafés.

Part of the European Researchers’ Night initiative, this event opens the university’s doors to the wider public.

If you are in the 11th grade and want to experience student life, this one-week camp is for you.
It is the perfect opportunity to explore the campus, discover the field that interests you and make it easier to decide which faculty to apply to.
Poli Kids Fest
How about a full day of play and discovery? At our annual festival dedicated to children and families, faculties organise educational games, creative workshops, experiments and fun outdoor activities.
How to get to the UPT Campus
You can find us at 2 Vasile Pârvan Boulevard, Timișoara, Romania. We are located close to the city centre, just a 10-minute walk from Victory Square.
By train
If you arrive in Timișoara by train, get off at Timișoara North Railway Station, located approximately 2 km from UPT. From the station, you can reach the campus on foot in about 25 minutes, walking through the city centre.
Alternatively, you can take:
- Tram 8: get off at Constantin Jude Sports Hall;
- Express bus E3 (towards Apicultorilor): get off at Complexul Studențesc (Ion Vidu) stop.
By coach
The main coach station is located near Timișoara North Railway Station. Most intercity coach routes arrive here, and from there you can follow the same routes mentioned above.
By car
Timișoara is easily accessible via national roads E70 (Bucharest – Craiova – Timișoara) and E671 (Oradea – Arad – Timișoara), as well as the A1 motorway.
Once you enter the city, follow the signs towards Centre / Complexul Studențesc / Politehnica.
Public parking areas are available near the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Știința Stadium.
By plane
Traian Vuia International Airport Timișoara is located 12 km from the campus. From the airport, you can take:
- Express bus E4 (Airport – City Centre – Politehnica);
- Taxi or ride-sharing services (approximately 20–25 minutes to the campus).
Organised group visits
If you represent a high school or a group of students interested in visiting the campus, you can request a guided tour that includes visits to our faculties, laboratories and research facilities.
