Teacher training programmes
If you wish to pursue a career in education, we offer teacher training programmes that prepare you for teaching activities in pre-university and higher education.

Teacher training programme – Level I
Who is it for?
The programme is intended for UPT bachelor's degree students, regardless of their field of study, who wish to obtain the right to teach in pre-university education, at lower or upper secondary level.
Enrolment usually takes place in the first year of study, but it is also possible at a later stage, subject to available places.
If you do not complete Level I during your bachelor's degree studies, you can also undertake it later as a postgraduate programme.
Enrolment
Enrolment takes place only at the beginning of each academic year. To enrol, you must submit the enrolment form, the certificate issued by your faculty and proof of payment of the fee. If you miss the official enrolment period, you cannot attend the courses in that academic year and will have to enrol the following year.
Delivery
The programme runs alongside bachelor's degree studies over three academic years. It includes theoretical courses, practical activities and teaching practice.
Fees
The programme fee is paid once for the entire academic year, at the time of submitting the enrolment form. Payment is made exclusively by card at the Department for Teacher Training on the day of enrolment.
Certification
The programme is completed with a graduation examination. The graduation certificate obtained grants you the right to teach in pre-university education (lower and upper secondary education).
After completing your bachelor's degree and Level I, you can continue with Level II, which is required to teach in higher education.
