Integrity is at the foundation of transparent operations at UPT: fairness, responsibility and respect for the law and the community. Our integrity mechanisms help prevent irregularities and protect everyone’s rights, contributing to a safe and trustworthy university environment.
Whistleblowers
Whistleblowers are people who responsibly report breaches of the law or irregularities that affect the proper functioning of the university. Whistleblower protection legislation ensures that such reports can be made safely, without the risk of retaliation.
This may include reports concerning abuse of power, conflicts of interest, fraud or the improper use of funds, irregularities in procurement, examinations or recruitment, discrimination, unethical practices and breaches of academic integrity.
