The Career Counselling and Guidance Centre (CCOC) supports you in finding the right path in your studies, career and life. Whether you are a student interested in discovering what suits you, a UPT student or a recent graduate, CCOC provides personalised and free support.

How you can get involved
Volunteering at CCOC
Would you like to get involved in organising university events, workshops or campaigns?
Through CCOC volunteering programmes, you can contribute to meaningful projects while developing your communication, leadership and organisational skills.
Psychological counselling
The psychological counselling service helps you better cope with emotional, personal or academic challenges.
In a safe and confidential environment, you can talk to a psychologist about what you are experiencing and discover the inner resources that can help you move forward. Book an appointment through the CCOC platform and benefit from up to 7 sessions/year (or a maximum of 4 sessions if you have participated in previous years).
Vocational counselling
Not sure which career path is right for you?
During vocational counselling sessions, you work with a counsellor or psychologist to identify your interests and strengths. The service includes up to 5 sessions/academic year — all you need to do is book an appointment through the CCOC platform.
Psychological assessment
Psychological assessment helps you better understand yourself and identify the professional fields that suit you.
The process includes completing psychological tests and an individual interpretation session with a specialist.
Employment preparation
Prepare confidently for your first step towards your career.
Our team provides support with writing your CV and cover letter, preparing for interviews and choosing suitable internship or job opportunities.

If you are looking for real internship, placement or employment opportunities, make sure to mark Career Days in your calendar.
The largest university job fair in western Romania, Career Days is a biannual event organised by UPT through CCOC.
Connecting Bridges
The Connecting Bridges conference is an annual event dedicated to innovation in education.
We bring together teachers, counsellors, HR specialists and higher education experts who share ideas and best practices for an education system better adapted to the future.
Counselling Days
If your personal and professional development matter to you, Counselling Days offers workshops on mental health, stress management, life skills, career counselling, aptitude assessments and volunteering opportunities.
