A university television station with a long-standing tradition
Teleuniversitatea Timișoara was established in 1994 and is one of the longest-running university television stations in Romania. Over the years, it has served not only as a media platform but also as a professional training environment, becoming a true “school” for generations of journalists and audiovisual professionals.
From the outset, Teleuniversitatea has taken on the role of reflecting academic life, the ideas, debates and initiatives that shape the university community.
From the UPT Campus to the entire region
Teleuniversitatea offers a university-focused thematic format, highlighting information and discussions of interest to the academic community, including education, research, innovation, culture and public dialogue.
At the same time, its programmes address topics relevant to the Timișoara community and the wider region, connecting the university with the realities of the world around it. Today, Teleuniversitatea serves as a meeting point between the university and the city, and between the academic community and local society.
