UPT-managed venues can accommodate a variety of private and social events in an accessible location with convenient links to the campus.
An accessible and adaptable setting for special occasions
We offer the general public a range of venues with different capacities and layouts, managed by the UPT Social Services Directorate. These venues are suitable for a wide variety of private events, including:
- Graduation banquets;
- Weddings;
- Christenings;
- Festive meals;
- Anniversary and commemorative events;
- Receptions and special gatherings.
To complement their chosen venue, organisers can also arrange dining and catering services or accommodation for guests, available through UPT’s hospitality facilities.
UPT Student Cafeteria – Timișoara
The UPT Student Cafeteria in Timișoara offers suitable venues for private events, from festive meals to receptions and parties for larger groups.
The space is flexible and can be arranged and divided to suit the type of event and the number of participants. We also provide dining and catering services, with a varied selection of customisable menus, as well as coffee breaks and full meals for events.
Features
- Main hall with a maximum capacity of 400 people;
- Two side halls, each with a maximum capacity of 150 people;
- Modular halls separated by movable decorative partitions, allowing the layout to be adapted to the type of event.

Casa Politehnicii No. 2
Casa Politehnicii No. 2 offers a comfortable setting for events, appreciated for its peaceful atmosphere and proximity to the city centre.
The venue includes a restaurant, an event room and a terrace, suitable for banquets, weddings, christenings, anniversaries and receptions.
Dining and catering services are available in all these spaces, with a varied selection of customisable menus, including coffee breaks and full meals for events.
In addition to event hosting and catering, Casa Politehnicii No. 2 offers three-star equivalent hotel accommodation.

- Terrace with a maximum capacity of 50 people.

Event Hall – Multifunctional Building, UPT Sports Complex No. 2
The event hall in the Multifunctional Building at UPT Sports Complex No. 2 provides a modern setting for private and professional events.
The venue can accommodate weddings, christenings, anniversaries, banquets, receptions, corporate events, training sessions and seminars.
Dining services are available for events held here, with customisable menus, as well as coffee breaks and full meals.

- Ground floor: 60 people;
- First floor: 90 people.

UPT Student Cafeteria – Hunedoara
For events held in Hunedoara, the UPT Student Cafeteria offers venues for small and medium-sized gatherings in an accessible and adaptable setting.
The spaces can accommodate banquets, anniversaries, receptions and other festive gatherings, with flexible layouts tailored to the type of event and the number of participants. Dining and catering services can be customised, with menus prepared by qualified staff.

- Large hall with 80 seats;
- Small hall with a maximum capacity of 30 people.
