Are you a high school student and want to experience what student life is like?
Take part in “Politehnica Timișoara – a step towards your future”, an event that challenges you to explore science, technology, architecture and communication through interdisciplinary competitions.
You will have the opportunity to test your knowledge alongside UPT teaching staff and students and learn through hands-on experience.
Why should you participate?
Interact directly with UPT teaching staff and students and discover how activities are carried out at a leading technical university.
The competitions highlight your critical thinking, creativity and technical knowledge in contexts inspired by real-life situations.
Taking part in the competition is a valuable experience in itself, but if you are among the winners, your achievement is fully rewarded: you can be admitted to UPT without an entrance examination, with a grade of 10 awarded automatically.
The 2026 edition
We look forward to welcoming you again to the UPT competitions — an experience that helps you test your knowledge, discover our faculties and take a concrete step towards your future.
From mathematics, computer science, electronics and mechanical engineering to architecture, civil engineering, chemistry and communication sciences, the competitions are designed for high school students (11th–12th grades) looking for real challenges and practical ias.

Competition winners may be admitted to Politehnica University Timișoara without an admissions examination.
