The student.upt.ro platform is your hub for academic and financial management:

Access and download your study contract for signing;
View the annex with your contracted subjects;
Check your status (tuition-free / tuition-based);
See which fees you need to pay and when;
Pay tuition fees or other fees online.

Log in using your UPT email address in the format firstname.lastname@student.upt.ro. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it from the login page. For assistance, a complete user guide is available on the platform.

The study contract

Throughout your studies at UPT, the relationship between you and the university is regulated by the study contract. This specifies the study programme you are enrolled in, your funding status (tuition-free / tuition-based), the subjects and number of credits, as well as the rights and obligations of both parties.

The contract is renewed at the beginning of each academic year and may be amended if you:

Change optional subjects;
Recontract subjects you have not passed;
Interrupt or resume your studies;
Re-enrol;
Transfer to or from another university.

Fees

Tuition fee

The tuition fee is established annually by the Decision of the Board of Administration. It can be paid in full or in four instalments (two per semester), directly through the student.upt.ro platform.

Other university fees

You pay certain fees for:

Recognition and equivalence of studies;
Taking exams in the third attempt;
Laboratory make-up sessions;
Final study examinations (bachelor’s degree/dissertation) in the September session;
Re-enrolment and resuming studies;
Internal transfer or transfer to other universities.

Instalments or reductions

Payment in instalments

The fee can be paid in two instalments per semester, based on an instalment payment request accompanied by the annex to the study contract. The request must be submitted within the deadline established by the faculty.

Tuition fee reduction

Under certain conditions established by the university, you can request a cap on the tuition fee, based on documents proving difficulties in paying the full amount. You can send this request to Laura Mirică (office of the Vice-Rector responsible for the educational process) at: laura.mirica@upt.ro.
